Halloween Birthday Bash

I had the most fun baking for Tayton's birthday! The bat cake was my favorite to do! I had orange and black icing everywhere. I'm talking pants, face, table, floor and even Lexi. She stayed right underneath me just in case something dropped. It was a sight!

The First of Halloween

Saturday Fishawk hosted its annual Pumpkin Festival. I went early in the evening and met up with the Chisholms. I had such a good time that I talked Forrest into going back. We enjoyed listening to The Sweet Spot and having a little relaxation. I can't wait for next year!

Goodness, I love my job : )

Roid Rage

Forrest has had several eventful days. He woke up Wednesday morning with a swollen lip and eyes as well as a red welts on his upper body. Saturday after 3 days of itching and benadryl, Forrest woke up with half of his forehead swollen. That's when we said that's it! Urgent Care...here we come!

Once we got there the doctor confirmed what we thought- contact dermatitis. I had just changed laundry detergents and that was the trigger! No more Wisk for us!

Forrest got a steriod shot in his bootay today and will start the anitbiotics tomorrow. It seems to be doing its job so far....just hope it continues!

Stop flirting with the nurses, Honey: )

MMM That's Good!

My taste buds are still savoring last nights supper. After eating at Outback this weekend, I decided to recreate Forrest's meal. He had Alice Springs Chicken and ate every bit of it. The original and the at home version were delicious!

To make this meal:

  1. Saute a Chicken Breast Seasoned with McCormick's Smokehouse Rub

  2. Add a Few Strips of Bacon to the Pan

  3. Crumble the Bacon and Place on Top of the Chicken Breast

  4. Top with Monterrey Jack Cheese

  5. Drizzle Outback's Honey Mustard Sauce over the Chicken

Presto.....All Done!
