I always love any excuse for going back to Apopka -especially for Christmas! Mom and Daddy seriously hooked us up this year. We got cooking stuff, picture frames and Man Cave supplies :)

As you can tell Lexi likes to help unwrap! What can I say? The girl loves presents!

A Kick Off To Christmas

Our first holiday event was Granny's annual Christmas get together. The crowd was quite a bit lighter this year but had just as many laughs as always!

After leaving Granny's, we went back to Ninny & Pa's to give Ninny her present early!

The girls kicked off the holiday season with a family tea party. We laughed, ate a wonderful brunch and sipped on some coffee!

I have become obsessed with Pioneer Women in the last few weeks. I've pinned a ton of recipes that will suit the picky Mr! You see Forrest loves "manly foods" like steak, BBQ chicken and burgers -and will not go for chick food! So now you will understand how happy I was when I ran across PW's recipe collection specifically for "cowboys."

We are still full from the Thanksgiving spread at Grandma and Grandpa's! There was a large table packed full of main dishes and a separate on for desserts...my personal favorite : )

Tis the Season

I am thankful for...

• The Holidays! It's like doing a puzzle for us this time of year to figure out where we are going to celebrate the holidays, when we will get together with our families and how long we are going to stay. It gets crazy but I am thankful to have the decision to be made. We both have two large families who LOVE to get together! What a blessing they are!



• The Mr! Forrest has worked 70 hours each week for the past 6 weeks. He works tirelessly for our little family and NEVER complains about it! The Lord has been so good to me!

Daddy Comes on Italian Night

Daddy stopped through Fishhawk last week to spend the night with us. Boy was I glad to see him! We had fettucini alfredo for dinner, watched Friday night lights and visited until we went to bed.

I don't know who Daddy was more excited to see...Me & Forrest or Lexi?

It's Fall Ya'll

Halloween Day

We went to Kelly's again this year for the annual Halloween hoorah. I expected to have a great time and it didn't disappoint. We played hard and laughed even harder throughout the whole night. The "kids"

Every year we plan to dress up and I always drop the ball.

Kelly got a "pin the nose on the pumpkin" and the adults were more interested than the kids.

A Golfer's Wife

A few weeks ago, Forrest and Adam were in a golf tourney so they decided to practice at the range. Kendall, Luke and I tagged along just for fun. Golfing is something the hubs LOVES so I am so glad he got the chance to do what he enjoys!

November Goals

1. Do P90X everyday this month! I've got to get back to my goal weight before the holidays hit.


2. Clean out the refrigerator every Monday morning! It seems like every weekend our refrigerator gets cluttered and the old food gets pushed to the back. Perfect time for a Monday morning pick up.


3. Take Lexi for a walk everyday! She needs it and it's good for me to make myself get outside in the evenings.

12 Hours on the Road

We made a quck road trip to Georgia Thursday and Friday for Mr. Hataway's funeral. Please be in prayer for the family! As much as we hated the reason for the trip, we LOVED seeing the babies!

Can't wait for Christmas so we can cuddle with Emily, play Lava Diver with Joshua and decorate Christmas tree cookies with Allie : )
