Our First Taste of Fall

When we left Florida, it was hot. I'm talking bathing suit weather. Georgia, on the other hand, was quite different. The weather in the morning and evening was chilly while the afternoon was perfect.

We spent our days together shopping, riding bikes, walking the track, sitting by the fire, piggin' out and cuddling with the children!

I enjoyed soaking up the Hataway babies and enjoying them before my baby's born : )

Forrest may have played a part in spoiling the babies too : )

It's always hard to say goodbye but it makes Christmas even more exciting!

Beach Palooza

We are home from the beach but keep saying over and over again "Let's go back and stay just one more night!" The weather was perfect, the food was delicious! The last time we went to the beach was with SHS a year ago so it was a much needed vacation!

Lexi looked pitiful when we left!

Thank goodness Adam & Kendall stayed at our house while we were away. Thank you guys!

Daddy was craving seafood so we ate at the Friendly Fisherman. It was really good and had a great view!

First of Many

The Lord has truly blessed us with such loving families. We spent our first Thanksgiving as Mr. and Mrs. Sumner at Grandma Ulmer's house. There were so many people there that we had to set up tables outside. God is so GOOD! I believe family is one of the greatest blessings! Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday because it's about being together! It was even better this year because I've grown to appreciate the time we all have together even more. If it wasn't for family, I don't know where I'd be! Love you Guys!

Out in the Boondocks

We have officially been to the boonies. They are located about six hours down miles of dirt roads.

Uncle Elder offered to let us stay at his house up in Ft. Gaines so we took him up on the offer. We had a blast! We hiked, rode the EZ-Go, fished, ate the fish, played some cards and of course we HAD to find a golf course along the way. It was so nice to get away and be in the country. Forrest even got to learn how to clean catfish. Although that wasn't his favorite part of the trip. We loved the trip and can't wait to go back.

Visit with the Hataways

We spent a restful week in Gray and it was exactly what we needed. We did everything from lazin' around to shopping and believe it or not the boys even went golfing : ) We are so thankful to have such wonderful family! Thank you Michael, Dana, Allie and Joshua for a wonderful time!

The whole gang toured Juliette and saw where Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed. We also got some delicous smoothies and did some more shopping!

Allie's hands and mouth were covered in Dana's chocolatey goodness of a birthday cake.

I never thought I'd hear my husband playing with imaginary friends. He turned into putty when Allie asked him to play pretend with her teddy bears. It was so sweet!

We spent a few afternoons out by the pool to watch the kids splash, "swim" and giggle.

Disney Palooza

We went to Disney with my parents a few weeks back. (yeah, yeah I'm a little behind in blogging) It was a beautiful day. The skies were blue and sun was shining. The pictures don't do the day justice. We had so much fun! Thank you Mom and Dad for coming up with the idea. We enjoyed the day!

Beach Bums

We took a second trip to the beach two weeks after we were married with Forrest's family. It felt like a second honeymoon for us. We had a great time getting some sun with everyone. My favorite part was listening to Adam and Forrest play at night. The melody sounded was music to my ears. It was our first family trip together and we are looking forward to many more to come!

Yeah, yeah we pack A LOT!
