We're Addicted to...YSW!

I make a baked lean protein along with a veggie for dinner every night. We typically exercise for an hour then head to our favorite You Say When to pick up our favorite treat.

 It's gotten expensive and we don't need our fix every night! So today we are giving it up and only going on special occasions.

So pray for us, we may be a little grouchy for a few days :)

My Husband's Caddy

*Sorry in advance for the picture overload. I just couldn't decide which ones I liked the most so I just posted them all.*

After being cooped up inside from the storm, the hubs and I were both getting stir crazy so he suggested we go golfing. Well, what the heck? We don't have anything else to do!  

You see, my husband LOVES golf! He hardly ever gets to go because he's so busy with work.

 

I have never seen anyone with such a passion for the game. If he could play full time, I really do believe he could go pro!

 I want to be the wife that encourages her husband to do what he loves! I never want to keep him from doing what he wants. After all, we puts up with my shopping addiction.

 

 

I've thought about how neat it will be for Forrest to teach our children the game. I mentioned that one day and his eyes started to sparkle! I think he may be a wee bit excited about it too!

The next time he'll be hitting the course will be the morning of our beach trip but he deserves to go every day because he works so hard to provide for our little family!

When the hubs and I first started dating, We were known as being quite competitive! Our favorite game to play used to be Egyptian Rat Screw then it evolved into poker and now we are onto Words with Friends. Forrest usually beats me so I admit I may have rubbed it in when I won!

My favorite meteorologist, Daddy, called last night to talk about the storm. We talked about the tornados and buckets of rain. You see when I was younger we would sit for hours watching any storm. So it's no surprise that with our recent weather I prepared a safe place for us in case a tornado touched down near us.

Forrest may have died laughing when he saw our "saferoom" and "supplies."

I racked my brain for days about what goodies to make for graduation. I immediately turned to pinterest and found exactly what I was looking for. Now, I'm brainstorming for the next holiday- FOURTH OF JULY!

Sunshine on a Dreary Day

The Lord has been so good to me! He sent the man of my dreams into my life a few years ago and that man continues to spoil me. We still go to sleep together every night and kiss each other everyday before he leaves for work.

As I sit here typing this, I am reminded of what I have vs. the things I want. It's raining outside, the house is cleaned so the only thing I have to do for the next few hours is a load of laundry and a movie is calling my name!
