Morning Baby

 Aiden enjoyed "shakin' it" this morning while he has a case of the sickies.

Turning 9 Months Old

Aiden turned 9 Months Old January 25th 

Weight: 

19 lbs on 1/27

Sleep: 

8:30 pm-5:30/6:30 am in his crib (not sure why he wakes at 5:30 some mornings?)

His morning nap is at 10:15 for 1 hour followed by his afternoon nap at 2:30 for about 1-2 hours

Diet:

(at 8 months) 
8 am: Cut up fruit then Nurse

12-12:30: Dried Beans, Shredded Turkey or Chicken, Nurse
6: Usually whatever we are eating mashed up 
7:30: 6 oz pumped bm  

Activities:
Playing in his "activity corner"
Crawling into the kitchen and getting into Lexi's bowls (that have now been moved on the other side of the gate)
Pulling all my tupperware out of the cabinet
CRAWLING

New Things: 

Saying "Hey" and waving when someone says hey to him
Pulling up to stand on his toy basket
Baths are without the baby seat (this has been long overdue...I was just too scared he'd fall backwards in the tub)
Likes to pass a cube back and forth repeatedly 
Gives High fives 
Clapped for the first time 1/13 on his own
Stick out his tongue to feel his lips 
Putting balls and small toys in and out of bowls

Clothes:

12 month sleepers, 6-9 month outfits, some 12 month onesies 

 Health:

Teeth must be coming in because Little Man constantly has his hands in his month and wants his "Nana"

Loves:

Dried Beans

Vtech crawling ball from Ninny & Pa
Elephant ball toy from KK & Papa
Feeding himself: avocoados, carrots, shredded turkey & chicken

Diapers: 

Target Size 3 during the day
Huggies Overnights Size 3 at night 

Words: 
"Nana" when I put him on the floor and walk away
 I think he's trying to say: ball, Lexi, dog

Misc:
Aiden has been especially loving this month! He will squeeze my neck tight when he's tired and I ask for a hug.

Bear with me, I'm trying to play catch up and upload Aiden's younger videos on the blog. 

Aiden loves him some popsicles! I have deemed them an "outside only" food.

Someone's Mobile

Forrest has been working with Aiden on crawling for months. Recently, he quit and decided to take a laid back approach. A few weeks without crawling practice Forrest laid a remote in front of Aiden and he crawled right away. We were both in shock! Did he really just do that? I grabbed my phone and took this video of crawling for the 2nd time.

I couldn't be any prouder of my baby boy who started clapping today all by himself while having breakfast!

My New Name

I try and try to teach Aiden to say "MAMA." He won't, he refuses instead he calls me "Nana." He never babbles it.  He uses it correctly 100% of the time. When he is on the floor and wants to be picked up he screams Nana, when I turn my back and he's in his highchair he says Nana and when he's done nursing he says Nana. I don't know if this is normal but I'll take it!

"Talking"

Little Man said his first word "HEY" (where he knew what he was saying) about 2 weeks ago.  He will say hey and wave anytime someone acknowledges him or in my case isn't giving him my 100% attention. When he gets really excited he waves with both his hands!

What Aiden LOVES to do at church:

• Get the hiccups
• "Sing" all during the song service
• Laugh ANYTIME he makes eye contact with Forrest 
• Eat puffs and scream fuss when they're gone
