A Peacefull Sunday

This year, once again, I took my annual trek to Apopka for Mother's Day! I went to church at Little Zion and back to Grandma's house for the afternoon. As always, we had an enjoyable time together. I hated to leave but was glad to be going back with Forrest!

Happy Mother's Day

To all those who are instrumental in our Lives!

We don't know what we would do without our Mothers and Grandmothers!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day rolled around this year and I just HAD to see my mama! I drove to Apopka after church and got to see everyone at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Growing up, I can't remember a Sunday we didn't go over to Grandma's and fight over where to eat :) It was fun to be a part of our tradition again.

A Mother's love is something

that no on can explain,

It is made of deep devotion

and of sacrifice and pain,

It is endless and unselfish

and enduring come what may

For nothing can destroy it

or take that love away . . .

It is patient and forgiving

when all others are forsaking,

And it never fails or falters

even though the heart is breaking . . .

It believes beyond believing

when the world around condemns,

And it glows with all the beauty

of the rarest, brightest gems . . .

It is far beyond defining,

it defies all explanation,

And it still remains a secret

like the mysteries of creation . . .

A many splendoured miracle

man cannot understand

And another wondrous evidence

of God's tender guiding hand.
