How far along? 6 weeks

Baby Size: Sweet Pea

Total weight gain: 0

Maternity clothes? Still uncomfortable with anything tight around my belly. I went through my closet this week and put away my "skinny shirts." They fit tight now but won't for much longer!

Stretch marks? None. I already lathering up with cream

Sleep: Still tossing and turning. Crazy dreams have started! They usually always have aligators in them!

Best moment this week: Seeing our my family Saturday! It's the first time I've seen them since we found out : )
Miss Anything? Eating food and enjoying it
Movement: Nothing
Food cravings: I still crave meat but I tried steak Friday night and about lost it! The only thing that tastes good to me is toast, BBQ pulled pork sandwich and fruit!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Cutting steak Friday night and the thought of fish
Gender: No way to tell yet Labor Signs: Nothing
Eating: I'm still eating good this week but that's probably because I'm not craving anything bad.
Exercise: Walking 1 hr with the family
Symptoms: EXHAUSTION!
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: I'm always tired which is making me a little grouchy!
Looking forward to: Seeing the heartbeat!

A Long Time Coming

Our First Born,

Most days I cry because I am so ready for an addition to our family. We prayed and prayed about the best time for you. The Lord gave your Daddy the wisdom to wait, to save and be smart with our money. He wants you to have everything! He is going to be such a great father to you! He treats me like a queen so I can't even imagine how he's going to treat you! We can't wait to hold you in our arms!

5 Weeks

I'm going to start weekly pictures next week because there isn't much to see today!

How far along? 5 weeks
Baby Size: An Appleseed
Total weight gain: 0
Maternity clothes? Regular clothes so far but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I hated wearing anything that buttoned around my belly
Stretch marks? None. I already lathering up with cream
Sleep: I toss and turn more throughout the night but still sleep pretty well
Best moment this week: Seeing our little sac at my doctors appointment Monday (9/20), Telling everyone
Miss Anything? Nothing other than feeling rested. We're loving every minute!
Movement: Nothing
Food cravings: Meat especially steak other than that I really don't have much of an appetite
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not much so far, I felt nauceous off and on right after we found out. Nothing since I saw the doctor :)
Gender: No way to tell yet
Labor Signs: Nothing
Eating: I've been clean eating this week! No cheating AT ALL!
Exercise: Walking 1 hr with the family and 1-2 30 minute walks with Lexi while Forrest is at work each day
Symptoms: EXHAUSTION!

Mood: I'm still so excited to be pregnant but I did have one day where I cried the entire day!
Looking forward to: Seeing the heartbeat!

The Night We Found Out

I had an inkling we were pregnant Sunday night, August 12th, so I decided to test. I got one very faint positive line that Forrest did not believe. It was the kind of result that I had to hold up to the light and squint to see my positive. Forrest insisted we bust out the digital! I went along with him took the test and let it sit. Next thing I hear is what sounds like a girl screaming "Pregnant, Pregnant, Pregnant!"

Neither one of us believed it, so I made 3 trips to Publix to get more tests. On the way back from Publix the last time, I balled and the only words that could come out were "Thank you LORD!" Before we started trying for a baby, I had a lot of stress over actually getting pregnant. I worried irrationally that we would never get pregnant or that it would take us a really long time. That Sunday was the second best day in my life. The Lord gave us one of HIS children the first month we tried!

I had been thinking about how to tell everyone for months! Neither one of us could hold it in so between Sunday night and Monday, we told everyone in our immediate family. My cutesy plans went out the window. All I wanted to do was share our news : )

 We are ecstatic and unbelievably thankful for the blessing the Lord has given us.

This was taken the night we found out we are going to have a BABY!!!! It's not the best picture but I want to remember the night just as it was!

Please don't judge my dirty mirror! I've had a baby on my brain :)

Our Journey to Baby

April 4th- Celebrate our 3rd Anniversary and Book our Babymoon.  

May 15th- Sign papers for maternity insurance

June 17th- Brainstorm ways to announce our pregnancy. Mainly I brainstorm and rattle off ideas to Forrest while he watches the US Open.

July 5th-8th Babymoon

Tea Party

Ninny planned Kendall's shower at The Tea Cup Tea Room. It was the perfect place for the occasion. We got to try as many fresh hot teas as we wanted not to mention all of the hors d'oeuvre's were mouth watering!

Small Town Friday Night

We may live in a small town but this small town sure knows how to throw an event! Since Emma and Jake spent the weekend with us, we decided to head out to the concert at Park Square. The atmosphere is always so much fun and the band didn't disappoint!

Emma and Jake enjoyed the fountains while we enjoyed the music! 

 These two were joined at the hip and spent hours beating each other on Angry Birds!

While making breakfast, I looked into the living room and saw Lexi watching morning cartoons while snuggling with the kids. Lexi sure loves that we have a big family with LOTS of youngins : )
