Garden Fresh Fettucine

Tonight's Meal

1 package fettucine
1 large zucchini
2 medium green peppers
2 medium onions
5 garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil
4 medium tomatoes
1 tsp salt

1.Cook fettucine. In a large skillet saute zucchini, peppers, onions and garlic in oil until tender.

2. Add tomatoes and salt. Saute for 4-5 minutes longer. Drain pasta; add vegetable mixture and toss to coat.

So yummy...as I type this, I'm eating it!
The hubs is golfing so it's eating in front of the TV for me!

A Fresh Warm Meal Every Night

I am so bad about procrastinating when it comes to cooking. I love to do it once I get going but it's hard for me to throw things together on a whim. I like to know what we are having for dinner when I wake up in the morning. It makes my whole day flow better knowing what time I need to start dinner, how long to let the meat marinate...etc. So to help-I sat down tonight and made a list of meals Forrest loves and incorporated a few new ones. Hope he likes them!
I'm going to try this each week. We will see how it goes!

My First Concert

Bethany got me tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert at the Strawberry Festival! She gave it to me back at Christmas so I've had over 2 months to get pumped. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The concert exceeded my expectations! I can't even describe how incredible the evening was. Great Music, Great Atmosphere & Great Girl Time!

Saturday With My Parents

Lets start off by saying...."Why do my parents have to live 2 hours away from us?"
Anywho- I spent last Saturday with Mom and Daddy! It went way way too fast!
I helped them do the show at the Lakeland Foliage Festival. The Plant Guru
Daddy came back from the bbq stand with this hunk of meat. He told me "Look Britt, I got a big 'ole ostrich leg." I thought WOW I've got to take a picture of this. Forrest will never believe that they sold ostrich legs there. I went on thinking this for a few hours when somebody spilled the beans that it was merely a turkey leg! OH DADDIO!

On the way to see my awesome parentals!

After the show Mom and I went to Joannes to get the supplies to make a wreath.
That was our project for the evening -A RAYS WREATH! (Pictures to Come)

1 Down Many To Go

My goal for the next month is ORGANIZATION! It all began when Uncle Wayne started the floors. My first project was the guestroom. It was our catch all room. Whenever we didn't know what to do with something, we put it in the guestroom. Thus the dire need for organization. The cleaning bug has grown from there and has worked it's way upstairs. The door is now shut in the guestroom and I'm onto my next project- the laundry room!

I decide to jump on the bandwagon and do "What I'm Loving Wednesdays!"

So Here I Go!

I'm loving that my parents and Bethany are coming for the weekend!

I'm loving reading "A Wife After God's Own Heart."

i'm halfway through it (for the 2nd time) and I highly recommend it!
