Birthday Palooza

Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me!

People say you are supposed to feel different at twenty-one. I really feel quite the same. I feel happy and satisfied with the life I'm in. God has blessed me for 21 years and I pray that He continues to do so!

Forrest drove down just for my Birthday. Thank you sweetheart!

I have no words for this picture other than....WOW! : )

Engagement Party

Forrest and I had our first real pre-marriage event about two weeks ago. Aunt Becky, Rachael, Rebecca, Grandma and Aunt Pat threw us an engagement party. We had a wonderful time. The party was a breath taking success.

It warmed my heart to have Forrest's family and mine joined for the first of MANY times! I am excited to see our families work together in the months to come. As I have said many-a-time, Forrest and I are so blessed! God is good!

Because We're Going to the Chapel

It has been like a whirlwind since I last posted. Who ever knew planning a wedding could be so much fun? My family, including Forrest's side, has been so supportive of this whole process. They have helped me do everything from looking for wedding and bridesmaids' dresses to tuxes, flowers, shoes, food, jewelry....you name it we've done it! I have been so blessed!

Here are some blooper pictures Bethany took at our engagement shoot. We will share the rest of our shots at the wedding and various functions.

The Beginning of Our Happily Ever After

On Sunday October 19th, 2008, Forrest proposed with song and on bended knee. After I gained my breath, I accepted his proposal and began my role as his fiance. My heart skips a beat every time I think of spending my life with the man of my dreams. It has been a whirlwind ever since that romantic Sunday afternoon. I pinch myself every so often to remind myself that it was not a dream and that I am indeed going to be the wife to an adoring husband. I am looking forward to planning our wedding but more than anything I have my eyes set on spending a lifetime with my sweetheart!
